The Assembly BIW Engineering Manager is responsible for but not limited too: <ul type="disc"> <li class="x_xmsolistparagraph">Management and Supervision of 5 direct reports both SBU and NBU and 3 - 2nd level HBU.</li> <li class="x_xmsolistparagraph">24hr / 7day critical situation support.</li> <li class="x_xmsolistparagraph">Daily support of production and maintenance at all GEMBA mtgs using the SIS Shop Floor Management process/tools.</li> <li class="x_xmsolistparagraph">Oversight and monitoring of systems performance and quality, identifying degrading trends and identifying causal issues.</li> <li class="x_xmsolistparagraph">Problem solving issues, developing, and implementing corrective actions.</li> <li class="x_xmsolistparagraph">Developing improvement projects specific to Engineering to increase JPH, Quality,</li> <li class="x_xmsolistparagraph">Tracking and presenting performance metrics such as CYCLE time, JPH, Change over and number of open/closed issues and associated improvements achieved(benefits).</li> <li class="x_xmsolistparagraph">Oversight of all welding system parameters and performance, responsible for archiving recipe data.</li> <li class="x_xmsolistparagraph">All programmable device back-ups archiving.
