<p>TransForce is seeking a CDL A to support local operations based in Detroit, MI.</p>
<p><strong>CDL A Details </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Schedule: Monday - Friday, some Saturdays, 8 hours guaranteed</p>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Pay: $24 Per Hour + OT after 40 hours</p>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Route Type: Switching</p>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Freight / Load Type: Automotive parts</p>
</ul>
<p><strong>CDL A Minimum Requirements: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>License: CDL A </p>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Experience: 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience </p>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Endorsements: Manual transmission required</p>
<li>
<p>Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) </p>
<li>
<p>Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements </p>
</ul>
<p><strong>CDL A Responsibilities: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes </p>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Transport automotive parts in accordance with DOT and company safety standards </p>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Perform required handling tasks including securing their own load</p>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections </p>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Maintain accurate logs and paperwork </p>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations </p>
</ul>
