To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. <ul> <li>Drives truck to destination.</li> <li>Distributes receipts for load picked up.</li> <li>Occasionally collects payment for goods delivered and for delivery charges.</li> <li>Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations.</li> <li>Maintains telephone and / or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.</li> <li>Unloads truck as needed.</li> <li>Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.</li> <li>Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit.</li> </ul> Skills You Bring: <ul> <li>Must be CDL A Licensed, must pass Driver's Testing, and must pass DOT Physical / Drug Testing</li> <li>Minimum one year of experience after CDL school. </li> <li>Current and active Class A Driver’s license with good driving record</li> <li>Up to 2 overnight trips per week (hotel and per diem provided)</li> <li>Previous experience operating a Moffett and boom truck highly preferred</li> <li>Previous warehouse experience highly preferred</li> <li>Proficient in reading and writing English</li> <li>Capable of working in a physically demanding work environment which includes bending; stretching; pushing, pulling and lifting a MINIMUM of 75 LBS; and extensive fast-paced walking in all weather conditions throughout the year</li> <li>Knowledge of basic math, ability to read and write the English language, and map reading skills'</li> </ul> Why Trulite: Trulite offers the most comprehensive benefit coverage in the industry.
