Job description
Overview: <p><strong>Full Time Position</strong></p><p><strong>Friday - Sunday</strong></p><p><strong>7:00pm - 7:00am</strong></p><p> </p><p>Performs computerized imaging, knowledge of all equipment and monitors. Assist patients and physicians as needed.</p> Qualifications: <p><strong>Required Education: </strong>High School Diploma or GED</p><p> </p><p><strong>Preferred Education: </strong>Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Necessary Skills:</strong></p><p>1. Knowledge of computer software and ability to troubleshoot.</p><p>2. Ability to provide physical and/or psychological support to patients screening and patient limitations.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Required Licensure/Certifications:</strong> </p><p>**BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross</p><p>**A minimum of one of the following license qualification/certification combinations:</p><p> License qualification/certification combination 1:</p><p> FL DOH license qualification: General Radiographer or Radiologist Assistant</p><p> Certification/registration: ARRT (R) Radiography. Within 1 year of hire or transfer into position must obtain ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography.</p><p> </p><p> License qualification/certification combination 2:</p><p> FL DOH license qualification: Nuclear Medicine Technologist</p><p> Certification/registration: ARRT (N) Nuclear Medicine Technology -OR- NMTCB, -AND- ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography</p><p> </p><p> License qualification/certification combination 3:</p><p> FL DOH license qualification: Radiation Therapy Technologist</p><p> Certification/registration: ARRT (T) Radiation Therapy -AND- ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography</p><p> </p><p> License qualification/certification combination 4:</p><p> FL DOH license qualification: General Radiographer, Radiologist Assistant, or Computed Tomography Certification/registration: ARRT (R) Radiography -AND- ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography </p><p> </p><p><strong>Required Experience:</strong> Less than one year in computerized imaging (CT, x-ray, nuclear medicine, or radiation therapy), or graduate of a post-secondary CT certification program.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong> One year of radiology experience within Diagnostic Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, or MRI and graduate of a post-secondary CT certification program or 1 year of CT imaging experience.</p>
