<span style="font-size:12pt"><span><span style="font-size:11.0pt">The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining programs that ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations while promoting a safe and healthy workplace. This role partners with all levels of the organization to minimize risk, prevent injuries, and support continuous improvement initiatives.</span></span></span><br>

<span style="font-size:12pt"><span><strong><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Essential Duties and Responsibilities</span></strong></span></span>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span><span><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, and other applicable requirements). </span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span><span><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions. </span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span><span><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Investigate workplace incidents, injuries, and near misses; determine root causes and recommend preventive measures. </span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span><span><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and supervisors. </span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span><span><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Maintain safety records, reports, permits, and documentation required by regulatory agencies. </span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span><span><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Coordinate emergency response procedures, evacuation plans, and safety drills. </span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span><span><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Monitor and manage hazardous waste, chemical handling, and environmental compliance activities. </span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span><span><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Support workers' compensation and return-to-work programs as needed. </span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span><span><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Collaborate with department managers to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement. </span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span><span><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Track safety metrics and prepare reports for management. </span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span><span><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Participate in new equipment, process, and facility reviews to ensure safety requirements are incorporated. </span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span><span><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices. </span></span></span></span></li>

<ul>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span><span><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred. </span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span><span><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Minimum of 2–5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred. </span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span><span><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA requirements, and applicable safety standards. </span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span><span><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Experience conducting incident investigations and implementing corrective actions. </span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span><span><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. </span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span><span><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. </span></span></span></span></li>
<li><span style="font-size:12pt"><span><span><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Ability to work independently and effectively with cross-functional teams. </span></span></span></span></li>
