Your role will involve conducting pre-post trip inspections on your truck, following all safety rules and regulations, and loading/unloading liquid waste from customer locations to a wastewater treatment facility. You must be someone who enjoys an active job, is comfortable using equipment on the truck to load/unload liquid waste, enjoys working independently but also thrives in building strong relationships. Annual performance review process and pay increases based on individual and company performance.</p> <p>Comprehensive Benefits: Choose from one of three medical plans, based on your needs, dental, and vision coverage; along with 401(k) with 5% company match</p> <p>Career Growth: Training programs and advancement opportunities in wastewater operations and environmental services</p> <p>Paid Time Off: Generous PTO policy accrues from day 1, floating and company paid holidays.</p> <p>Additional Perks: Company-paid life and disability insurance, employee assistance program, monthly cell phone stipend and more</p> <p>Safety-First Fleet: We operate operationally sound equipment designed to protect our professional drivers and loyal customers</p> <p>Supportive Leadership: Leadership that values safety, professionalism and growth</p> <p> </p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Safely operate vacuum trucks and related equipment</li> <li>Collect and transport both liquid and solid waste, including industrial by-products and sewage</li> <li>Conduct daily inspections and perform routine maintenance on vehicles</li> <li>Ensure waste is disposed of properly and in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations</li> <li>Maintain professional conduct while working with customers, fellow peers, and the motoring public</li> <li>Maintain accurate records of waste collected, maintain driver electronic logs, and necessary documentation as required</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> <li>May require occasional overtime, weekends or holiday shifts as dictated by business needs</li> </ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma/GED</li> <li>Valid Class CDL-A in the state of operation (Florida) with a TANKER endorsement</li> <li>1 year of Tanker experience</li> <li>Must have a current DOT medical card</li> <li>Class A Driver's License with a clean driving record.</li> <li>Must satisfy DOT background check and drug screen criteria.</li> <li>Able to read and speak English sufficiently is required.</li> <li>Ability to work overnight shift</li> <li>No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years</li> <li>No more than 1 at-fault vehicle accident in the previous 5 years</li> <li>Ability to complete a background check, including, but not limited to, verification of criminal history, employment history, and educational credentials.</li> <li>The ability to pass a drug screening will be subject to random drug tests during employment.</li> <li>Good roadside inspection history</li> <li>Ability to operate and troubleshoot vacuum trucks and related machinery.</li> <li>Strong communication and customer service skills.</li> <li>Vaccum Truck Driving Experience is Preferred</li> <li>Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.</li> </ul> <p style="margin-bottom:13px"> </p> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </div>
