CT or mammography certification required, experience and certification in multiple modalities preferred. If you are a Rad Tech certified in CT or mammography and are interested in living and working in Middlebury, VT - we hope you'll apply today. </b></p><p><b>ABOUT RADIOLOGY AT PORTER MEDICAL CENTER</b><br>The Radiology Department performs 25,000 imaging exams annually using CT Philips ingenuity 64 slice CT scanner, MRI, ultrasound, and Hologic 3D for mammography. CT and general x-ray services are available 24/7, with ultrasound and MRI performed on weekdays with weekend ultrasound call coverage. </p><p><b>JOB DESCRIPTION</b></p><p>Seeking experienced CT/Mammo/Rad Tech with excellent customer service skills. </p><p>Cross training into other modalities and certification (based on Radiology Department needs) is required, and existing CT or mammo certification is required.</p><p>The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing routine, trauma, intraoperative, radiological imaging. </p><p>In addition to competitive pay, this position is eligible for the following differentials: </p><p>Evening $3/hour </p><p>Night $5/hour </p><p>Weekend $2/hour (in addition to any applicable evening or night differentials) </p><p>Per Diem $2/hour (in addition to any applicable evening, night, and weekend differentials) </p><p><b>JOB QUALIFICATIONS</b></p><p>Satisfactory completion of a formal radiological technology program in a CAHEA approved school and certification by the ARRT or its equivalent. </p><p>Current Vermont unrestricted State license to practice radiologic technology. </p><p>Demonstrated competence as a licensed professional by maintaining professional growth and development to keep abreast in Radiology Tech field. </p><p>Maintains certification in Tech’s special modality. </p><p><span>CT or mammography certification required.</span></p><p><b><span>SHIFTS/HOURS</span></b></p><p>Shifts vary based on department needs.</p><p><b>LEARN MORE</b></p><p>About our radiology department: https://www.portermedical.org/departments-and-programs/radiology/</p><p>About the UVM Health Network: https://www.uvmhealth.org/about-uvm-health-network </p><p>About Middlebury, VT: https://www.experiencemiddlebury.com/ </p></div>
