This CRNP, Specialist will play a critical role in contributing to continuity of care, quality outcomes, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive neurosurgical inpatient care in collaboration with attending surgeons and interdisciplinary teams. Perform advanced bedside procedures including (but not limited to): 1. Central and arterial line placement 2. Ventriculostomy Drain Management and Removal 3. Subdural Drain Management and Removal 4. JP Drain Management and Removal Manage inpatient surgical consults, emergency department consults, and urgent evaluations. Independently manage post-operative and critically ill neurosurgery patients, with appropriate escalation. Participate in hospital call coverage, including nights and weekends, addressing emergent patient needs. First assist in the operating room as needed. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, formulate treatment plans, and perform timely documentation in the EMR. Educate patients and families on surgical conditions, procedures, and care plans.
