Plant Nurse (Night Shift)

<b>Shift</b><br><br> 2nd Shift<br><br><b>Description</b><br><br> <ul> <li> Provide medical care ranging from minor incidents to acting as a first responder. </li> <li> Support and assist Safety Managers in coordinating and managing health services. </li> <li> Maintain workers compensation information for claims, and help schedule doctor visits and transportation. </li> <li> Coordinate and perform pre-employment physicals and drug testing (post-offer, accident, and random). </li> <li> Develop and implement employee health and wellness programs such as health assessments, immunization programs, medical care, wellness education, counseling, etc. </li> <li> Maintain active and positive ongoing relationship with local occupational health clinic. </li> <li> Manage hearing conservation, heat stress, respiratory protection and ergonomics programs including development and delivery of employee training. </li> <li> All other relevant duties to the job. </li> </ul><br><br><b>Requirements</b><br><br> <ul> <li> Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required OR Certified EMT, Paramedic, etc. </li> <li> Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) certification or willingness to obtain. </li> <li> Prior occupational health experience within a similar environment preferred. </li> <li> Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) certification or willingness to obtain. </li> <li> Ability to ensure confidentiality of employee health information. </li> <li> Knowledge of OSHA, ADA, FMLA regulations. </li> <li> Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills. </li> </ul><br><br><b>Physical Requirements</b><br><br> <ul> <li> Frequent utilization of office equipment and/or computers. </li> <li> Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. </li> <li> Exposure to noise (>85 decibels), CO2, and moving production lines. </li> <li> Possible exposure to heat (99°F, 37°C) and cold (45°F, 4°C). </li> <li> Possible exposure to wet and cold environment. </li> <li> Work around live and/or raw animal odors. </li> </ul><br><br><b>Benefits Information</b><br><br> Benefits Eligibility Varies Paid Time Off 401k Savings Plan Health, Dental and Vision Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance FREE $25,000 life insurance policy with additional life insurance programs available Company Sponsored Purchasing Program Perks & Bonuses: On-the-Job Training Provided Weekly Pay Check Promotional Career Opportunities All required Personal Protection Equipment is provided Company Cook-Outs, Safety Rewards, Giveaways, etc. Come be a part of a Family Oriented Company that offers so much more!
