Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Behavioral health, Counseling, Intake, Medication side effects, PTSD, Psychosomatic Medication Interactions, Suicide and self harm risk assessment, or Therapeutic nurse/patient relationship. <ul> <li> Shift(s) available: night shift </li> <li> Job types available: full time </li> <li> Employer features: Best Places to Work recognition, Community hospital, Cross training, Health Insurance, Level 2 trauma center, Level 3 trauma center, Life Insurance, Magnet recognized, Nurse self-care program , Offers sign on bonus, PTO, Retirement Plan </li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications:</h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher educational attainment from an accredited program</li> <li>Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license</li> <li>1+ years experience working in a behavioral health setting, preferably in an inpatient or outpatient environment</li> <li>Strong understanding of psychotropic medications, their side effects, and proper administration protocols</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards as outlined by the American Nurses Association (ANA)</li> </ul> <h2>Responsibilities: </h2> <ul> <li>Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in consultation with a multidisciplinary team</li> <li>Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for efficacy and potential side effects</li> <li>Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families, using evidence-based therapeutic communication techniques</li> <li>Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops on topics related to mental health and well-being</li> <li>Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care, including discharge planning and aftercare support</li> </ul> <h2>Benefits:</h2> <ul> <li>Healthcare coverage: Medical, Dental, Vision</li> <li>401K</li> <li>Paid Time Off</li> <li>Tuition Assistance</li> </ul> <h2>Salary: $62,030 to $101,547 /year</h2>
