The Orthopedic Specialty Care Unit (OSCU) is a 39-bed unit that cares for patients recovering from elective orthopedic procedures and traumatic orthopedic injuries in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">As a Registered Nurse on OSCU, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional care throughout the recovery process while working alongside experienced physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members. font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans</span></li><li style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status</span></li><li style="font-size: 12pt; font-size: 12pt;">Education:</span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.</span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">- 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.</span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">- If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.</span><br /><br /></li><li><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Experience: One year of acute nursing experience required.</span><br /><br /></li><li><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">Licensure/Certification/Registration: <br />- Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.</span><br /><span style="font-family: calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">- Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Red Cross or American Heart Association required.</span></li></ul>
