Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Bariatric, BiPap monitoring, COVID, CVA, Cardiac Drip Management, DKA patients, High acuity patients, Post cardiac intervention, or Sheath pulls. <ul> <li> Shift(s) available: day shift, night shift, and mid shift </li> <li> Job types available: full time and part time </li> <li> Employer features: Academic medical center, Best Places to Work recognition, Community hospital, Cross training, Level 1 trauma center, Level 3 trauma center, Level 4 trauma center, Magnet recognized, Medical, Teaching Hospital, Tuition Assistance, U.S. News best hospital </li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications:</h2> <ul> <li>Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing</li> <li>Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license</li> <li>1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred</li> <li>BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association</li> <li>Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation and other advanced nursing care practices</li> <li>Proficient in electronic medical record systems</li> </ul> <h2>Responsibilities: </h2> <ul> <li>Provide specialized care for patients with medium to high acuity needs, closely monitoring vital signs, IV drips and other key indicators</li> <li>Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans, ensuring that medical orders are carried out accurately and promptly</li> <li>Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care</li> <li>Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors</li> <li>Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations</li> </ul> <h2>Benefits:</h2> <ul> <li>Healthcare coverage: Medical, Dental, Vision</li> <li>401K</li> <li>Paid Time Off</li> <li>Tuition Assistance</li> </ul> <h2>Salary: $62,030 to $101,550 /year</h2>
