Hospitals on Incredible Health are actively hiring and accepting applications in the Washington, DC area for the following position: Registered Nurse - Pediatric ER. <ul> <li> Shift(s) available: day shift, night shift, and mid shift </li> <li> Job types available: full time, part time, and per diem </li> <li> Employer features: 401(K), 401(K), Cross training, FSA, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Life Insurance, Magnet recognized, Medical, PTO, PTO, Retirement Plan, Tuition Assistance, Union facility, U.S. News best hospital </li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications:</h2> <ul> <li>ADN or higher degree in nursing</li> <li>Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license</li> <li>BLS, ACLS, PALS certification preferred</li> <li>1+ years of experience in a pediatric and/or emergency room (ER) setting preferred</li> <li>Experience with pediatric medical equipment and procedures</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of healthcare professionals, children, and families</li> </ul> <h2>Responsibilities: </h2> <ul> <li>Serve as the first line of defense for young patients who require any type of urgent medical care</li> <li>Treat pediatric patients who are suffering from trauma, injury or severe medical conditions</li> <li>Quickly assess patients' needs and prioritize care</li> <li>Monitor patient health conditions, administer medications and other treatments, and operate and maintain medical equipment medical equipment</li> <li>Participate in code blue and other emergency situations</li> <li>Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans, determining whether a patient should be discharged or arranged for a longer hospital stay</li> <li>Educate patients, including children and adolescents, and their families about the patient's condition and care plan</li> </ul> <h2>Benefits:</h2> <ul> <li>Healthcare coverage: Medical, Dental, Vision</li> <li>401K</li> <li>Paid Time Off</li> <li>Tuition Assistance</li> </ul> <h2>Salary: $61,470 to $130,000 /year</h2>
