Primary Purpose: The X-ray Shooter (Radiographer Level I) will operate a machine to shoot X-rays of titanium castings and components for aerospace parts. Duties and Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Accurately and efficiently set-up X-ray shots following technique card specifications.</li> <li>Ensure radiographs meet customer requirements.</li> <li>Understand and apply quality control procedures.</li> <li>Work experience is to be obtained under the direct supervision of an X-ray Level II or III</li> </ul> Minimum Qualifications and Experience: <ul> <li>Prior industry experience preferred.</li> <li>Prior work in manufacturing/production preferred.</li> <li>Prior work with x-ray or non-destructive testing is very beneficial.</li> <li>Must be organized, efficient, pay close attention to detail, and multi-task.</li> <li>Requires good communication and problem-solving skills and be ability to work well with others. </li> <li>High school level math, including algebra required. </li> <li>May be required to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.</li> <li>Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift. </li> <li>Compliance with general company attendance standard is required.</li> <li>HS diploma or equivalent GED required, but candidates not meeting this requirement who possesses relevant experience will be considered.</li> <li>Must be at least 18 years of age.</li> <li>Solid job history including more than 1 year at previous or recent employer. </li> <li>Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check.</li> <li>Must be willing to participate in pre-employment and periodic drug screening.</li> </ul> Work Conditions: <ul> <li>The job is performed under reasonably good working conditions. </li> </ul> Open Schedules: <ul> <li>Swing Shift currently available (4x10 Mon-Thurs)</li> <li>Weekend Day Shift currently available (3 x 12 Fri- Sun) </li> </ul> Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) is an industry-leading manufacturer of highly-engineered components and sub-assemblies, supplying the commercial aerospace, military and industrial markets with small-to-large “function critical” products.
