Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

<p><strong>Coverage Needed </strong> </p><ul><li> Start Date: July 2026 </li><li> End Date: Ongoing </li><li> Schedule: Night Shifts, 7pm-7am </li> </ul><p><strong>Clinical Details </strong> </p><ul><li> Non ICU work - Just general cardiology floor coverage </li><li> EMR: Cerner </li><li> Round daily on all floor-level care patients admitted to or seen in consultation on the general cardiology service line </li><li> Write daily progress notes, event notes, admission H&Ps, new consult notes, and discharging </li><li> Order medications, testing, and procedures when indicated </li><li> Mostly step-down and cardiology unit patients </li><li> Perform new consults with attending MD </li><li> Support Staff: Hospitalist Medicine and Cardiology supporting all patients. Pulm CC and CV Surgery provide support as needed </li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements </strong> </p><ul><li> Experienced Cardiology PA or NP </li><li> Active NC License and DEA </li><li> DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active </li><li> Must be board certified or board eligible </li> </ul>
