Primary Care Nurse Practitioner - San Francisco, CA <p><strong>Location: </strong> San Francisco, CA <br><strong>Job Type: </strong> Permanent job<br><strong>Work Setting: </strong> On-site<br><strong>Schedule: </strong> Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM </p> Salary Range <p><strong>$145,000 $155,000 annually </strong> (DOE) </p> Key Responsibilities <ul><li><p>Provide comprehensive primary care, continuity care, and acute care services </p> </li><li><p>Serve as primary care provider for patients within scope of practice </p> </li><li><p>Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and interdisciplinary care teams </p> </li><li><p>Support clinical coverage through Epic In Basket, including: </p><ul><li><p>Reviewing test results </p> </li><li><p>Responding to patient messages </p> </li><li><p>Processing medication refill requests </p> </li> </ul> </li><li><p>Mentor and support new and incoming APPs </p> </li><li><p>Provide clinical guidance and oversight to APPs on patient care questions </p> </li><li><p>Implement evidence-based medicine and adhere to national and internal clinical guidelines </p> </li><li><p>Utilize the Electronic Health Record (EHR) to improve workflows, documentation, and compliance </p> </li><li><p>Participate in clinical initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and care delivery </p> </li> </ul> Required Qualifications <ul><li><p>Active <strong>California Nurse Practitioner license </strong> </p> </li><li><p><strong>5+ years of clinical experience </strong>, including <strong>2+ years in Primary Care </strong> </p> </li><li><p>Ability to function independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment </p> </li><li><p>Strong communication and interpersonal skills </p> </li><li><p>Excellent organization, time management, and multitasking abilities </p> </li><li><p>Experience mentoring or precepting APPs strongly preferred </p> </li> </ul> Core Competencies & Values <ul><li><p>Patient-focused with a passion for improving healthcare experiences </p> </li><li><p>Comfortable taking initiative and adapting to change </p> </li><li><p>Accountable, detail-oriented, and quality-driven </p> </li><li><p>Compassionate, emotionally intelligent, and collaborative </p> </li><li><p>Strong commitment to teamwork, transparency, and trust </p> </li> </ul> Physical & Work Environment <ul><li><p>Office-based clinical environment </p> </li><li><p>Sedentary work for most of the workday </p> </li><li><p>Combination of in-office clinical work and desk-based EHR activities </p> </li> </ul>
