<p> A regional hospital in Hannibal, Missouri is seeking an experienced Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its inpatient hospitalist team as a <strong>Nocturnist </strong> Advanced Practice Provider. This role is an integral part of the acute care team, providing high-quality, evidence-based care for hospitalized adult patients in a collaborative and supportive environment. <br /><br /> </p><p> <strong>Role Overview & Highlights: </strong> </p><ul><li> Full-time <strong>nocturnist </strong> APP (NP/PA) role </li><li> 12-hour night shifts with varied scheduling </li><li> Independent and collaborative inpatient patient management </li><li> Participation in Rapid Response and Code Blue events </li><li> Procedural opportunities including endotracheal intubation (based on credentialing and training) </li><li> Strong collaboration with on-site or immediately available nocturnist physician </li><li> Focus on acute inpatient hospital medicine and critical care support </li><li> Opportunity to work within a well-supported, team-based hospital environment </li> </ul><p> <strong><br />Qualifications: </strong> </p><ul><li> Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program </li><li> Active, unrestricted Missouri NP or PA license (or eligibility) </li><li> National certification (ANCC/AANP or NCCPA) required </li><li> Active DEA registration (or eligibility) </li><li> Current BLS and ACLS certification required (PALS preferred) </li><li> 2 4 years of clinical experience preferred in: <ul><li> Hospital medicine </li><li> Critical care </li><li> Emergency medicine </li> </ul> </li><li> Experience with resuscitation and acutely ill patients preferred </li><li> Prior airway management and intubation experience strongly preferred, or willingness to complete training and credentialing </li> </ul><p> <strong><br />Community:<br /><br /> </strong>Located in a historic Mississippi River community in northeast Missouri, the area offers a welcoming small-town lifestyle with strong community ties and an affordable cost of living.
