<br><strong>Locum - Pediatric Anesthesiologist (Physician) Dayton, OH </strong><br>Are you a dedicated anesthesiologist with a passion for pediatric care seeking a flexible, rewarding locum opportunity? Join Dayton Children's Hospital for a critical assignment providing anesthesia coverage in a thriving hospital setting. This position offers a chance to contribute to a tertiary care center s outstanding patient care while enjoying competitive compensation and supportive team collaboration.<br>This role plays a vital part in supporting surgical and anesthesia teams, ensuring safe and effective anesthesia management for neonatal to adult patients in a busy Level I Trauma Center. Your expertise will facilitate smooth operations in a high-volume environment with a collegial team of professionals committed to excellence.<br><strong>Required Skills: </strong><br><ul><li>Valid medical license and DEA certification in Ohio </li><li>Board certification or eligible in Anesthesiology, with pediatrics preferred </li><li>Ability to supervise CRNAs in a team-based care model </li><li>Experience with a high volume of surgical cases (50-60/day) </li><li>Strong clinical judgment and patient safety focus </li><li>Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams </li> </ul><br><strong>Nice to Have Skills: </strong><br><ul><li>Experience in a Level I Trauma Center </li><li>Prior pediatric anesthesia practice experience </li><li>Knowledge of anesthesia equipment and safety protocols specific to neonatal and adult patients </li> </ul><br><strong>Preferred Education and Experience: </strong><br><ul><li>Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution </li><li>Current Ohio medical license and DEA registration </li><li>At least 2 years of anesthesia practice, preferably in a hospital setting with pediatric anesthesia </li><li>Experience supervising CRNAs beneficial </li> </ul><br><strong>Other Requirements: </strong><br><ul><li>Willingness to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM 3:30 PM </li><li>Participation in the hospital s credentialing process, including fingerprinting and verification of certifications </li><li>Compliance with all hospital policies and state/federal regulations </li><li>Ability to travel as needed, with travel expenses reimbursed per policy </li> </ul><br>We invite qualified physicians ready to make a meaningful impact on patient care to apply today.
