Locum Tenens Opportunity for Cardiology Near Baltimore, MD <p>We are currently seeking a <strong>Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Cardiologist </strong> for a locum tenens position located near Baltimore, MD. This role offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment with a supportive team and flexible scheduling options. </p> <strong>Position Details: </strong> <ul><li><strong>Specialty </strong>: Cardiology </li><li><strong>Location </strong>: Near Baltimore, MD </li><li><strong>Schedule </strong>: ASAP - Ongoing </li><li><strong>Shift </strong>: Day shifts, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with on-call requirements </li><li><strong>Coverage </strong>: Full-time with call rotation </li><li><strong>Block Scheduling </strong>: Not available </li> </ul> <strong>Work Details: </strong> <ul><li><strong>Call Rotation </strong>: You will be responsible for call coverage one in every 4-5 days, with hospital call every 8th week. During hospital call, you will handle phone consultations at night and round on admissions and consults during the day. There will be a reduced office schedule during hospital call weeks. </li><li><strong>Patient Load </strong>: Approximately 16 patients per day. </li><li><strong>Support Staff </strong>: Work alongside 3 other cardiologists in a collaborative environment. </li><li><strong>Department Description </strong>: The position involves both clinic and hospital coverage. </li><li><strong>EMR Systems </strong>: Office uses eClinicalWorks; hospital uses Cerner. </li><li><strong>Hospital Bed Size </strong>: 220 beds. </li><li><strong>Special Procedures </strong>: Experience with echos and nuclear testing is preferred but not required. </li> </ul> <strong>Requirements: </strong> <ul><li><strong>Board Certification </strong>: Required in Cardiology. </li><li><strong>State License </strong>: A Maryland medical license is required.
