Non-Invasive Cardiologist Opportunity near ROCKAWAY PARK, NY <p>We are currently seeking a skilled non-invasive Cardiology trained physician to join our team in providing high-quality patient care. This is a permanent position, and we welcome applications from individuals with one to three years of cardiology clinical experience in an outpatient setting. </p><p><strong>Ideal Candidate Qualities: </strong> </p><ul><li>One to three years of cardiology clinical experience in an outpatient setting. </li><li>Ability to diagnose and treat a wide variety of cardiology conditions to enhance patient outcomes. </li><li>Competency in diagnosis and treatment to maintain high standards of patient care and safety. </li><li>Patient-centered approach, ensuring a positive patient experience. </li><li>Excellent communication skills. </li><li>Interest in Population Health Management. </li> </ul><p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong> </p><ul><li>Review patient's medical history and perform physical examinations. </li><li>Evaluate, diagnose, and provide appropriate treatment and patient care for disorders and diseases of the cardiovascular system. </li><li>Perform a wide range of non-invasive Cardiology procedures, including echocardiography, stress echo testing, and pacemaker/defibrillator monitoring. </li><li>Diagnose patients with the aid of diagnostic images, electrocardiograph recordings, and other testing. </li><li>Prescribe medications and formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans. </li><li>Recommend suitable management for the patient, including preventive health recommendations and habits. </li><li>Provide relationship-centered care, considering the patient's psychosocial and physical needs. </li><li>Maintain complete and accurate medical records. </li><li>Communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure the total delivery of quality care. </li><li>Participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings. </li> </ul><p><strong>Qualifications: </strong> </p><p><em>Education & Experience: </em> </p><ul><li>Doctor of Medicine (MD) or foreign equivalent. </li><li>Completion of a four-year postgraduate medical training from an accredited residency program in the area of practice and three years of cardiology fellowship training. </li><li>Board Eligible/Board Certified in Cardiology Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, or Echocardiography with a preference for Level II or Level III COCATS certification. </li><li>Seeking both experienced and newly trained providers. </li><li>Current, unrestricted New York State license. </li><li>Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or eligibility for registration. </li><li>Active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or eligibility to enroll. </li><li>BLS or ACLS certification required (both strongly preferred). </li><li>Strong communication skills, both oral and written. </li><li>Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and Microsoft Office. </li> </ul><p><em>Job ID: j- </em> </p> <strong>HDAJOBS </strong> <strong>MDSTAFF </strong>
