<b> JOB OVERVIEW </b> <br>Job Title: Gastroenterologist <br>Job Type: Permanent (Full-Time) <br>Location: Mountain Home, AR <br>Service Setting: Outpatient Clinic <br>Coverage Type: Clinical + Call <br>Clinical Shift Schedule: Weekday office hours <br>Call Schedule: 10 days of call per month & weekend call 1:4 <br><b> PATIENT INFORMATION </b> <br>Patient Demographics: Adults with endocrine disorders including diabetes <br>Patient Volume/Census: To be built collaboratively; Diabetes Clinic support in place <br>Case Mix: Endocrine disorders with a focus on diabetes care <br><b> FACILITY INFORMATION </b> <br>? Clinic within 0.5 mile of Hospital and GI Lab <br>Office equipment available: 4 procedure rooms in Endoscopy, State-of-the-Art Equipment <br>Specialty Backup: Yes collaboration with APRN and RN Diabetes Educator <br>Support Staff Available: 2 GI physicians, full clinic support team, including clinical educators and nursing staff <br><b> PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE </b> <br>Hospital Privileges Required: No (100% outpatient) <br><b> COMPENSATION & BENEFITS </b> <br>Salary: $700,000 base salary plus production bonus opportunity <br>Bonuses: Commencement bonus <br>Relocation: Assistance provided <br>Loan Repayment: Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) <br>Insurance: <br>- Professional Liability Insurance <br>- Health, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life Insurance <br>Retirement Plan: Included <br>Continuing Medical Education (CME): Allowance included <br>Additional Perks: New specialty service line, supportive infrastructure <br><b> REQUIRED PROCEDURES </b> <br>Outpatient management of endocrine disorders <br>Diabetes management and education collaboration with clinical team <br><b> JOB REQUIREMENTS </b> <br>Licenses: Arkansas medical license (or eligibility to obtain) <br>Certifications: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Endocrinology <br>Experience: Preferred but not required for qualified candidates <br>Other Qualifications: <br>- Strong interest in building a new specialty service line <br>- Excellent communication and collaborative skills <br><b> DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES <br> </b><br>Establish and grow a new endocrinology practice at Baxter Health <br>Collaborate with a well-established Diabetes Clinic and clinical educators <br>Provide outpatient care for a broad range of endocrine conditions <br>Contribute to patient education and chronic disease management <br>Support hospitals mission to expand specialty care access <br>
