Lucrative Opportunity for OB/GYN Call Coverage Seeking Board Certified OB/GYN for 5-Day Call Coverage <p>Are you a skilled and dedicated OB/GYN looking for a fulfilling locum tenens opportunity? We have an excellent position available for OB/GYN Call Coverage, 5 days per month, starting at the end of February or beginning of March. This is an ongoing opportunity in a supportive environment. Read on for more details about this exciting role located near Lakehead, CA. </p> Job Overview: <ul><li><strong>Profession: </strong> OB/GYN </li><li><strong>Coverage Basis: </strong> Locum Tenens </li><li><strong>Start Date: </strong> End of February/beginning of March </li><li><strong>Coverage Duration: </strong> 5 days per month, ongoing </li><li><strong>Shifts: </strong> 24-hour call for OB and Gyn presentations to the ED for a 5-day stretch. No clinic or office patients. </li><li><strong>Response Time: </strong> Physicians do not need to remain in-house but must be within a 20-minute response time. </li><li><strong>Setting: </strong> Inpatient/outpatient </li><li><strong>Duties: </strong> Full scope OB/GYN </li><li><strong>FTE: </strong> 1.0 </li><li><strong>Required Procedures: </strong> Deliveries (C-section/Vaginal), Gynecological Surgeries </li><li><strong>EMR: </strong> Cerner </li><li><strong>Support Staff: </strong> Dedicated MA, practice manager </li><li><strong>Reason for Coverage: </strong> Permanent provider reducing coverage </li> </ul> Additional Details: <ul><li><strong>Types of Cases: </strong> Full scope OB/GYN </li><li><strong>No NICU </strong> </li><li><strong>Patients Per Day: </strong> 16-20 </li> </ul> Credentialing Information: <ul><li><strong>Timeframe: </strong> 60 days </li> </ul> Travel Preferences: <ul><li><strong>Preferred Lodging: </strong> Preferred hotels </li><li><strong>Air Travel: </strong> Local, preferred but not required </li><li><strong>Travel Exceptions: </strong> Any anticipated travel exceptions should be detailed in the provider presentation. </li> </ul> Rates to Submit: <ul><li><strong>Malpractice Rates: </strong> Must be included in the rates </li><li><strong>Orientation: </strong> Per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours </li><li><strong>24-Hour Call: </strong> Must include 4 hours gratis - per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis </li><li><strong>Call Back: </strong> Must match hourly rate - per hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours completed, gratis prorate to MSA terms </li><li><strong>Holiday Rates: </strong> All holiday rates will be 1.5x the regular rate per CSH guidelines. </li> </ul> Submission Requirements: <ul><li><strong>Board Certification: </strong> Required </li><li><strong>Active CA License: </strong> Required </li><li><strong>IM/FP, OB/GYN Residency/Fellowship: </strong> Required </li><li><strong>Active BLS, DEA, NRP/NALS: </strong> Required (Must be willing to obtain during credentialing) </li><li><strong>Availability: </strong> Must state availability (# of shifts per month) at name clear </li><li><strong>Active Staff at a TJC-accredited facility: </strong> Required to note.
