The role is ideal for board-certified OB/GYN physicians looking for flexibility and the chance to practice in a well-equipped setting with a comprehensive support team. </p><p><strong>Job Details: </strong> </p><ul><li><strong>Location: </strong> Colorado (near Slater) </li><li><strong>Position Type: </strong> Locum Tenens OB/GYN Physician </li><li><strong>Schedule: </strong><ul><li><strong>Clinic Hours: </strong> Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. </li><li><strong>Call Rotation: </strong> Approximately 1 in 4, with around 8 days of call per month; includes weekday and weekend availability </li><li><strong>Weekend Call Coverage: </strong> Provided primarily by certified nurse midwives as 1st call </li> </ul> </li><li><strong>Caseload Overview: </strong><ul><li>Low-risk pregnancy: 50% </li><li>High-risk pregnancy: 50% </li><li>C-sections: 20% </li><li>Office-based GYN: 35% </li> </ul> </li><li><strong>Patient Load: </strong> Clinic sees an average of 1520 patients per day; approximately 6 deliveries per week per physician </li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements: </strong> </p><ul><li><strong>Certification: </strong> Board Certified in OB/GYN (ABMS/AOA) </li><li><strong>Licensure: </strong> Active Colorado license or eligibility via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) </li><li><strong>Experience: </strong> Proficiency in obstetrics, gynecology, and related procedures, including routine and complicated deliveries, gynecological surgeries, and minor office procedures </li> </ul><p><strong>Facilities & Resources: </strong> </p><ul><li><strong>Onsite Support: </strong> RN and technical support, including lab and ultrasound services </li><li><strong>Exam Rooms: </strong> 13 fully equipped rooms for patient consultations and procedures </li><li><strong>Documentation System: </strong> Epic for both hospital and clinic use </li><li><strong>Hospital Features: </strong><ul><li>39-bed acute care with 4 ICU beds </li><li>Level II nursery services with streamlined transfer options to higher-level NICUs if necessary </li> </ul> </li> </ul><p><strong>Procedures Required: </strong> </p><ul><li>Obstetrics: Management of low and high-risk pregnancies, FHR interpretation, routine deliveries, and complicated deliveries, including C-sections </li><li>Gynecology: Office procedures such as IUD placements and minor surgical interventions (e.g., cystoscopy, colposcopy, LEEP), as well as open and laparoscopic gynecologic surgeries </li> </ul><p><strong>Application Requirements: </strong> </p><ul><li>Current CV with locum history </li><li>Valid NPI and license details </li><li>Availability and malpractice documentation </li><li>Professional references (if available) </li> </ul><p>If youre a skilled OB/GYN physician interested in an opportunity to work in a beautiful region of Colorado, apply now with Job ID . </p> <strong>HDAJOBS </strong> <strong>MDSTAFF </strong>
