Locum Tenens OB-GYN Hospitalist Needed near Hull, TX (j- ) <p><strong>Seeking a Qualified and Experienced OB-GYN Hospitalist for Labor and Delivery </strong> </p><p>Are you a dedicated and highly skilled Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OB-GYN) passionate about women's health? This temporary opportunity offers a flexible start date as soon as possible (ASAP) and extends until the need is filled. </p><p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong> </p><ul><li>Deliver comprehensive labor and delivery care to a diverse patient population in a hospital setting. </li><li>Provide expert management of labor, delivery, and postpartum care for expecting mothers. </li><li>Actively monitor all obstetrical patients on the labor and delivery (L&D), antepartum, postpartum, and obstetric emergency department (OBED) units. </li><li>Respond promptly to obstetrical emergencies and ensure optimal patient outcomes. </li><li>Collaborate effectively with nurses, other physicians, and healthcare professionals within the hospital system. </li><li>Participate in consultations for obstetric patients in the emergency department or any hospital-owned clinic upon request. </li><li>Assist hospital OB-GYN physicians with surgical procedures when needed. </li><li>Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within the hospital's electronic medical record system. </li> </ul><p><strong>Qualifications: </strong> </p><ul><li>Active and unrestricted Texas (TX) medical license or eligible for temporary licensure. </li><li>Board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) is mandatory. </li><li>Minimum of five years of experience in obstetrics is required. </li><li>Excellent clinical judgment, decision-making skills, and strong clinical foundation in labor and delivery, obstetric care, and emergency management. </li><li>Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and healthcare teams in high-stress situations. </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. </li> </ul><p><strong>Additional Considerations: </strong> </p><ul><li>This opportunity offers a flexible schedule with the ability to choose between 12 or 24-hour shifts. </li><li>Patient volumes are high across multiple hospital locations (Kingwood, Clear Lake, and Woman's Hospital).
