Physician - Palliative Care Opportunity near SAINT PAUL, IN Full-Time Position in a Vibrant Inpatient Program <p>Discover a fulfilling opportunity for a dedicated Palliative Care Physician near SAINT PAUL, IN. If you are passionate about palliative care, providing support to patients and their families, this role may be the ideal fit. </p><p><strong>Position Details: </strong> </p><ul><li><strong>Position Type: </strong> Full-time, providing stability and professional growth. </li><li><strong>Hospital Setting: </strong> Join a 231-bed regional referral hospital, contributing to the well-being of the community. </li><li><strong>Electronic Medical Records: </strong> Utilize Epic EMR for efficient patient care and record-keeping. </li><li><strong>Inpatient and Outpatient Integration: </strong> Participate in a vibrant inpatient program, with the outpatient practice located in the same department as the Geriatrics Practice. </li><li><strong>Call Rotation: </strong> Engage in an inpatient weekend call rotation, ensuring comprehensive patient care. </li><li><strong>Work Schedule: </strong> Monday - Friday (8 am - 5 pm), offering a balanced and predictable schedule. </li><li><strong>Collaborative Role: </strong> Serve as the primary collaborative physician for two Palliative Care Inpatient NPs and a NP specializing in transitional care within the outpatient clinic. </li><li><strong>Alternative Collaboration: </strong> Act as an alternative collaborative physician for two NPs focusing on geriatric medicine within the outpatient clinic. </li><li><strong>Medical Equipment: </strong> Utilize advanced medical equipment, including EKG machines, Sophia-Flu, Covid Reader, and A1C testing. </li><li><strong>Experience: </strong> Apply your experience with working alongside APPs and managing end-of-life and chronic illnesses. </li><li><strong>Compassionate Care: </strong> Demonstrate compassion for ill patients and their families, contributing to a supportive healthcare environment. </li> </ul><p><strong>Qualifications: </strong> </p><ul><li><strong>Board Certification: </strong> Board Eligible or Board Certified in Palliative Care. </li><li><strong>Experience: </strong> Previous experience in inpatient and outpatient palliative care medicine is desired. </li><li><strong>Licensure: </strong> Hold an Indiana Medical License to practice medicine in the state. </li><li><strong>Certifications: </strong> Maintain BLS/ACLS certifications to ensure patient safety. </li> </ul><p><strong>Community and Job Environment: </strong> </p><ul><li><strong>Location: </strong> Near SAINT PAUL, IN, providing a strategic and convenient location in Indiana. </li><li><strong>Job ID: </strong> j- </li> </ul><p>If you are a compassionate and experienced Palliative Care Physician seeking a meaningful opportunity in a vibrant healthcare setting, we encourage you to apply.
