This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on maternal healthcare while enjoying the vibrant community life of the region. </p> Job Details: <ul><li><strong>Start Date: </strong><ul><li>Immediate start after credentialing </li> </ul> </li><li><strong>Shifts: </strong><ul><li>24-hour in-house shifts </li><li>5-7 shifts per month </li> </ul> </li><li><strong>Call Ratio: </strong><ul><li>1 in 5 </li> </ul> </li><li><strong>Patient Load: </strong><ul><li>5-10 patients per day </li> </ul> </li><li><strong>Areas of Rounding: </strong><ul><li>Post Partum, Ante Partum, and Labor and Delivery </li> </ul> </li><li><strong>ICU Beds: </strong><ul><li>25+ </li> </ul> </li><li><strong>EMR: </strong><ul><li>Cerner </li> </ul> </li><li><strong>Credentialing Timeframe: </strong><ul><li>4 weeks </li> </ul> </li> </ul> Support and Environment: <ul><li><strong>Support Staff: </strong><ul><li>RNs, Back-up physicians, Physician Anesthetist, and/or CRNA </li> </ul> </li><li><strong>Volume: </strong><ul><li>3-4 deliveries per 24 hrs </li><li>13-15 average patients per 24 hrs </li> </ul> </li><li><strong>Coverage: </strong><ul><li>The physician is the in-house coverage for all patients with or without a private physician </li><li>Full-time in-house OB/GYN hospitalist at Saint Agnes Medical Center </li> </ul> </li><li><strong>NICU Levels: </strong><ul><li>Level 2 and Level 3 NICUs in the hospital (Saint Agnes Medical Center) </li> </ul> </li> </ul> Submission Requirements: <ul><li><strong>Board Certification: </strong><ul><li>Board Certified/BE within 5 years </li> </ul> </li><li><strong>State License: </strong><ul><li>California license required at the time of name clear </li> </ul> </li><li><strong>Certifications: </strong><ul><li>Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification required </li> </ul> </li><li><strong>Background: </strong><ul><li>Clean background with no malpractice preferred </li> </ul> </li> </ul> Enriching Your OB/GYN Practice <p>This locum to perm opportunity near Tulare, CA, provides a unique chance to contribute to the advancement of maternal healthcare in a bustling medical center.
