Locum Tenens Hospitalist Physician Needed (ASAP - Ongoing) We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Hospitalist Physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Manchester, NH. The facility is looking for flexible physicians who can adapt to various shift patterns, including days, nights, and weekends. Job Overview: <ul><li>Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing </li><li>Assignment: Full-time locum need, equivalent to 2 FTEs </li><li>Shift Type: 12-hour shifts (day and night shifts available) </li><li>Block Schedule: 7 on/7 off </li><li>Shift Requirements: Providers must be willing to work 7 consecutive shifts, preferably 2 weeks per month. </li> </ul> Responsibilities: <ul><li>Patient Load: 16-20 patient visits per day, per physician. </li><li>Hospital Setting: The hospital has a closed ICU, and no procedures are required from hospitalist physicians. This allows the team to focus on patient care, hospital operations, and medical education. </li><li>Call Rotation: Call coverage is rotated, and the provider must be open to working both day and night shifts as needed. Weekend coverage is also required. </li><li>Mentorship and Teaching: The ideal candidate will be excited to teach and mentor the next generation of physicians, engaging in various aspects of hospital operations and medical education. </li> </ul> Key Requirements: <ul><li>Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (FM). </li><li>Licensing: Must have or be willing to obtain an active New Hampshire state medical license. </li><li>Experience: Prior experience as a hospitalist is required, along with the ability to manage a fast-paced environment. </li><li>EMR System: Meditech is the EMR used at the hospital.
