Locum Tenens Hospitalist Physician Needed near Belmont, NH (j- ) <p><strong>Seeking a Dedicated and Experienced Hospitalist for Locum Tenens Role </strong> </p><p><strong>Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for patient care? </strong> We're searching for a skilled and dedicated Hospitalist physician to join our team in a growing community near Belmont, NH. This temporary opportunity offers a flexible start date as soon as possible (ASAP) and extends for up to three months, with the potential to extend further. </p><p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong> </p><ul><li>Deliver comprehensive inpatient care to a panel of adult patients, managing a caseload of 16-20 patients per day. </li><li>Conduct thorough patient histories, perform physical examinations, diagnose illnesses and injuries, and develop effective treatment plans. </li><li>Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide ongoing medical care throughout a patient's hospitalization. </li><li>Collaborate effectively with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. </li><li>Participate in hospital operations and contribute to medical education initiatives, fostering a collaborative learning environment. </li><li>Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within the Meditech electronic medical record system. </li> </ul><p><strong>Qualifications: </strong> </p><ul><li>Active and unrestricted New Hampshire (NH) medical license. </li><li>Board-certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (ABFM) is mandatory. </li><li>Experience in a hospital setting managing adult medical patients is preferred. </li><li>Excellent clinical judgment, decision-making skills, and strong clinical foundation in hospital medicine. </li><li>Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team environment. </li><li>Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting. </li><li>Willingness to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends. </li> </ul><p><strong>Schedule: </strong> </p><ul><li>The typical schedule consists of 12-hour shifts with a 7-on/7-off block structure.
