This allows for a healthy work-life balance. </li><li><strong>Supportive Environment: </strong> Work within a collaborative team in a 10-bed pediatric unit fostering a patient-centered approach. </li><li><strong>Advanced Technology: </strong> Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records system to ensure efficient documentation and communication. </li><li><strong>Meaningful Impact: </strong> Contribute your expertise to the well-being of children in our community, including providing care in the newborn nursery, for scheduled C-sections, and deliveries. </li> </ul><p><strong>What You'll Do: </strong> </p><ul><li>Manage an average inpatient census of 5 pediatric patients. </li><li>Admit and care for an average of 2 patients per day. </li><li>Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients. </li><li>Provide comprehensive care for newborns, including those in the nursery. </li><li>Support families throughout their child's hospitalization. </li><li>Document all patient interactions, diagnoses, treatment plans, and interventions thoroughly and efficiently within the EPIC electronic medical records system. </li> </ul><p><strong>Who You Are: </strong> </p><ul><li>Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with board certification in Pediatric Hospital Medicine (required). </li><li>Current and active license to practice medicine in North Carolina (only). </li><li>BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (required). </li><li>A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care within a collaborative and team-oriented environment. </li><li>Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. </li> </ul><p><strong>Join a Team Committed to Pediatric Care: </strong> </p><p>We are passionate about providing exceptional care to children of all ages.
