<p><strong>Neurologist Outpatient </strong> </p><p><strong>Compensation: </strong> $475,000 per year </p><p><strong>Job Type: </strong> Full-Time Employed Exclusively Outpatient <em>(Optional Inpatient Exposure Available) </em> </p><p><strong>Location: </strong> Mattoon, Illinois </p><p><br></p><p>We have partnered closely with a premier regional healthcare facility to recruit a full-time, Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) <strong>Outpatient Neurologist </strong>. Located directly within the main hospital building, this role offers the perfect blend of a dedicated outpatient clinic environment, an established support team, and zero traditional hospital call burdens. </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong> </p><ul><li>Provide comprehensive outpatient neurological evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for a diverse patient population. </li><li>Partner and collaborate with an established, high-functioning clinic team currently comprised of two physicians and one Advanced Practice Provider (APP). </li><li>Manage a predictable outpatient workflow with no mandatory hospital call responsibilities, restricted primarily to reviewing critical patient lab values as needed. </li><li>Customize your practice scope based on your clinical preferences, with options to read EEGs (preferred but not required) and/or conduct EMG reads if desired. </li><li>Take advantage of optional inpatient coverage opportunities if you have a clinical interest in maintaining acute care exposure. </li><li>Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely electronic medical records for all clinical encounters and consultations. </li> </ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications: </strong> </p><ul><li>Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution </li><li>Successful completion of an accredited Neurology Residency program </li><li>Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Neurology </li><li>Active, unrestricted Illinois state medical license (or immediate eligibility to obtain) </li><li>Valid DEA registration </li><li>Strong clinical judgment and a collaborative communication style optimized for a team-based clinic model </li> </ul><p> ? </p><p><strong>Benefits: </strong> </p><ul><li>Immediate upside earning potential through production bonuses paid on all RVU output exceeding the base guarantee </li><li>$100,000 sign-on incentive that is completely forgiven over four (4) years of service </li><li>Rewarding $100,000 retention bonus structured over five (5) years </li><li>Eligible for an annual quality incentive up to 10% of your base salary (capped at $50,000) upon meeting baseline metrics once your practice is fully established </li><li>33 days of annual paid time off plus 5 dedicated CME days </li><li>$6,000 annual CME allowance, with all professional state license fees and renewals completely covered </li><li>Up to $15,000 in relocation assistance provided </li><li>Fully paid medical malpractice insurance coverage, including complete tail coverage at no cost to you </li><li>High-end health, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance policies </li><li>Extremely competitive retirement plan with robust employer-funded contributions </li> </ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Note on Compensation: </strong> The listed compensation range is not a guarantee.
