<br><strong>Position: Ultrasound/Vascular Technologist (Days) Claremont, NH </strong><br><strong>Overview: </strong><br />We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound/Vascular Technologist to join our team in Claremont, New Hampshire. This is a full-time, day shift position focused on providing exceptional vascular and ultrasound imaging services in a professional and patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency with ultrasound equipment, adhere to established standards, and prioritize patient safety and comfort.<br><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong><br><ul><li>Select and operate appropriate ultrasound equipment based on exam specifications, ensuring optimal image quality. </li><li>Explain procedures thoroughly, tailoring communication to match patient age and understanding to reduce anxiety and improve cooperation. </li><li>Assess patient comfort and pain levels during imaging; communicate with physicians for interventions if necessary. </li><li>Perform comprehensive vascular and ultrasound examinations with accuracy and attention to detail. </li><li>Adjust transducer selection and equipment controls according to specific anatomical and procedural requirements, including depth and body part considerations. </li><li>Maintain and calibrate equipment regularly, ensuring all devices operate efficiently and safely. </li><li>Document all patient information comprehensively and accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. </li><li>Follow established protocols and standards to uphold quality and safety in all procedures. </li><li>Maintain a professional appearance in personal scrubs as per dress code. </li> </ul><br><strong>Qualifications: </strong><br><ul><li>Valid NH Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (MIRT) license or equivalent certification. </li><li>Certification through ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography). </li><li>Certification in Vascular Registry (RVT or equivalent). </li><li>Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. </li><li>Demonstrated experience in vascular and general ultrasound imaging. </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations. </li><li>Proficiency in using HMS Medhost EMR system. </li> </ul><br><strong>Benefits & Opportunities: </strong><br><ul><li>Competitive hourly pay rate, commensurate with experience and credentials. </li><li>Low-cost comprehensive benefits package including free medical and dental plan options, vision coverage, and a 403(b) retirement plan with employer matching. </li><li>Health Savings Account with employer contribution. </li><li>Short-term disability and life insurance coverage. </li><li>Generous accrued paid time off (ETO) with the option for annual cash-out. </li><li>Onsite wellness programs and health initiatives. </li><li>Commitment to professional development with educational reimbursement opportunities. </li> </ul><br>This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth within a supportive healthcare environment committed to quality patient care.
