OB/GYN Physician - Locum Tenens Opportunity Near Colorado Springs, CO <p>We are seeking a dedicated and experienced OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens position near Colorado Springs, CO. This opportunity is ideal for a physician looking for a flexible schedule while providing essential care in both clinical and on-call settings. The position is available immediately and will continue on an ongoing basis, offering the chance to make a significant impact on patient care. </p> Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care, including both obstetrics and gynecology, in a clinic setting. </li><li>Manage 12 exam rooms with support from a well-trained office ancillary staff, including 1:1 MA coverage, a sonographer, three front desk personnel, and a surgical scheduler. </li><li>Perform and oversee lab tests and ultrasounds, working closely with the onsite lab and ultrasound technicians. </li><li>Handle 24-hour call duties from 7:00 AM Sunday to 7:00 AM Monday, with varying callback percentages:<ul><li><strong>Weekdays </strong>: 2% </li><li><strong>Weekends </strong>: 5% </li><li><strong>OB </strong>: 20% </li><li><strong>GYN </strong>: 80% </li> </ul> </li><li>Utilize EMR systems for documentation in both clinic and hospital settings, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping. </li><li>Work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. </li> </ul> Schedule and Details: <ul><li><strong>Clinic Hours </strong>:<ul><li>Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM 4:30 PM </li><li>Friday: 9:00 AM 3:30 PM </li> </ul> </li><li><strong>24-Hour Call </strong>: Sunday 7:00 AM Monday 7:00 AM. </li><li><strong>Location </strong>: Near Colorado Springs, CO. </li><li><strong>Start Date </strong>: ASAP. </li><li><strong>End Date </strong>: Ongoing, through August 2025. </li><li><strong>Practice Setting </strong>: Outpatient clinic and hospital call. </li><li><strong>Worksite Resources </strong>: Onsite lab, ultrasound performed by tech, 12 exam rooms, and a robust office ancillary staff. </li><li>Competitive compensation with an hourly rate. </li> </ul> Qualifications: <ul><li><strong>Required </strong>: Board-Certified OB/GYN with active Colorado state license. </li><li><strong>Certifications </strong>: ACLS, BLS, and NRP required. </li><li><strong>Experience </strong>: Proven ability to manage both obstetric and gynecologic cases with a high level of expertise. </li><li><strong>Skills </strong>: Excellent communication, organizational skills, and proficiency in EMR systems. </li> </ul><p>This locum tenens role offers a unique opportunity to practice in a supportive environment while maintaining a flexible work-life balance.
