<p><strong>Psychiatrist </strong> </p><p><strong>Employment Type: </strong> Permanent Full-Time Four 10-Hour Days Day Shift </p><p><strong>Location: </strong> La Grande, OR (Rural Eastern Oregon) </p><p><strong>Compensation: </strong> $350K - $385K+ per year </p><p>We are seeking an innovative and energetic <strong>Physician </strong> who enjoys professional autonomy and working with a supportive, caring group of healthcare professionals! Youll join a growing Critical Access Hospital and Level IV Trauma Center in beautiful rural Eastern Oregon. You will play a key role in growing our behavioral health and primary care services. </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities </strong> </p><ul><li>Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and follow-up care for a diverse rural patient population </li><li>Oversee pharmacological treatments and monitor patient progress to ensure therapeutic efficacy and safety </li><li>Partner with Primary Care providers and Behavioral Health specialists to provide a "whole-patient" approach to health </li><li>Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic mental health conditions (e.g., depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use disorders) </li><li>Serve as a subject matter expert for the behavioral health team, contributing to workforce training and the development of clinical protocols </li><li>Utilize Epic EMR for timely and accurate clinical charting </li><li>Provide consultation within the Level IV Trauma Center environment when psychiatric expertise is required for acute patient stabilization </li><li>Participate in community-based initiatives to reduce the stigma of mental health and improve access to care in the region </li> </ul><p><strong>Qualifications </strong> </p><ul><li>Medical Degree (MD) from an accredited school </li><li>Completion of an ACGME-accredited Residency in Psychiatry </li><li>Active, unrestricted State Medical License </li><li>Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry </li><li>Strong skills and a commitment to providing high-quality care in a community-oriented environment </li> </ul><p><strong>Compensation & Benefits </strong> </p><ul><li>Competitive total compensation opportunity up to $385k+ comprised of </li><li>Quality incentives up to $45,500 </li><li>Commencement bonus of $30k </li><li>$8,000 annual CME, licensing, dues, subscription + paid CME time </li><li>Student loan assistance </li><li>Hospital employed </li><li>Full benefits including a 401k match & paid malpractice </li><li>PTO </li> </ul><p><br></p><p><br></p>
