<p> A leading academic medical center in New Jersey is seeking an accomplished physician to serve as<strong>Division Chief of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine </strong>. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to oversee and advance all clinical, educational, research, and administrative activities within a well-established pediatric pulmonology division. </p><p> <strong>Position Overview: </strong> </p><ul><li><p> Provide visionary leadership for a team of pediatric pulmonologists, overseeing faculty activities in clinical care, teaching, research, and administration. </p><li><p> Direct all scholarly, clinical, and educational initiatives within the division, including outpatient and inpatient services at a major childrens hospital. </p><li><p> Participate in and foster collaborative research, with opportunities for both clinical and laboratory-based investigation. </p><li><p> Mentor and teach medical students, residents, and fellows across a full spectrum of pediatric training programs. </p><li><p> Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with other pediatric subspecialists, research faculty, and affiliated institutions. </p> </ul><p> <strong>Qualifications: </strong> </p><ul><li><p> Board certification in Pediatric Pulmonology. </p><li><p> Demonstrated track record of excellence in clinical care, education, and investigative work. </p><li><p> Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. </p><li><p> Eligibility for medical licensure in New Jersey. </p> </ul><p> <strong>Compensation and Benefits: </strong> </p><ul><li><p> <strong>Minimum academic base salary: </strong>$268,759 per year, with additional eligibility for faculty practice compensation. </p><li><p> The final salary offer will be determined by qualifications, experience, expertise, and internal equity, and may be influenced by available departmental or grant funding. </p><li><p> Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, prescription drug, and dental coverage; paid vacation, holidays, and various leave programs; competitive retirement plans; educational benefits for employees and dependents; life insurance; and employee discount programs. </p> </ul><p> <strong>About the Department: </strong><br>The department features a full complement of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists and offers robust outpatient and inpatient services, cutting-edge research opportunities, and a strong commitment to the academic mission.
