<b>JOB OVERVIEW </b> <br>Job Title: Physician Radiology <br>Job Type: Locum Tenens <br>Location: Virginia, MN / Duluth, MN <br>Service Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient <br>Coverage Type: Clinical Only <br>Coverage Period: June 1, 2026 Ongoing <br>Clinical Shift Schedule: M F;, 8 hrs/day (onsite) <br><b>PATIENT INFORMATION </b> <br>Patient Demographics: Adults and general population <br>Patient Volume/Census: 110 reads per day <br>Case Mix: General radiology, CT (general & neuro), MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, interventional and diagnostic imaging <br><b>FACILITY INFORMATION </b> <br>Trauma Level: Level I (Duluth), Level IV (Virginia) <br>EMR System: Epic <br>Office Equipment Available: Full radiology imaging suite (CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, fluoroscopy) <br>Specialty Backup Available: Full hospital specialty support including surgical, radiology subspecialties, and ancillary services <br>Reason for Coverage: Supplemental<br><b>COMPENSATION & BENEFITS </b><br>Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance Covered <br><b>REQUIRED PROCEDURES </b> <br>CT (general and neuro, CT Angio) <br>General radiology (plain films, fluoroscopy, GI studies) <br>MRI (including musculoskeletal and neuro)MRA <br>Ultrasound (general, abdominal, Thyroid Scans, Doppler) <br>Interventional procedures (biopsies, drainages, vascular access) <br><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS </b> <br>Licenses: Active MN License <br>Board: BC/BE <br>Must work onsite <br><b>DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES </b> <br>Interpret diagnostic imaging studies across multiple modalities <br>Perform interventional radiology procedures including biopsies and drainages <br>Provide timely and accurate radiology reads ( 110/day workload) <br>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for diagnostic and treatment planning <br>Maintain compliance with onsite workflow and EMR documentation standards <br>
