Additional dates may be added. </li><li><strong>Shift Hours: </strong> Call coverage from 7:30 AM to 7:30 AM. </li><li><strong>Call Details: </strong><ul><li>Beeper call with a 20-minute response time. </li><li>Call type includes both phone consultations and potential in-person care. </li> </ul> </li><li><strong>Practice Type: </strong> Inpatient only; outpatient services are not required. </li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements: </strong> </p><ul><li>Board certification or eligibility in Neurological Surgery. </li><li>Active California medical license (no reimbursement for licensing fees). </li><li>Proficiency in a variety of neurosurgical procedures, including:<ul><li>Trauma and spinal surgeries (cervical, thoracic, lumbar, with or without instrumentation). </li><li>Tumor resections and skull base surgeries. </li><li>Aneurysm clippings, cerebrovascular, and endovascular procedures. </li><li>Placement of ICP monitors, VP shunts, and more. </li> </ul> </li><li>Familiarity with the Epic EMR system is preferred. </li> </ul><p><strong>Facility Highlights: </strong> </p><ul><li>Trauma Level III certified. </li><li>Stroke-certified hospital. </li><li>No requirement for admissions, rounding, or teaching/supervising other healthcare providers. </li> </ul><p><strong>Additional Information: </strong> </p><ul><li>Travel and lodging will be arranged by the staffing vendor. </li><li>Credentialing timeframe: 6090 days. </li><li>Insurance coverage provided by the staffing vendor. </li> </ul><p>This role is ideal for physicians who are passionate about neurosurgery and are looking for locum tenens work in a picturesque and tranquil part of California.
