<strong>Physician (MD/DO) Adult Outpatient Psychiatry </strong> <p> <strong>Location: </strong> San Jose, CA<br><strong>Schedule: </strong> Part-Time 20 hours/week Between 7:00 AM 5:00 PM<br><strong>Setting: </strong> Adult Outpatient Float Role<br><strong>Compensation: </strong> <strong>$200 $215 per hour </strong> </p> <strong>Position Overview </strong> <p>We are seeking a <strong>Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist (MD/DO) </strong> to join our team in <strong>San Jose, CA </strong> in a <strong>part-time, outpatient setting </strong>. This is a <strong>float position </strong>, providing coverage across adult outpatient services. The ideal candidate is adaptable, collaborative, and comfortable working across multiple clinic environments. </p><p><strong>Strong preference for onsite providers. </strong> </p> <strong>Key Responsibilities </strong> <ul><li><p>Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for adult patients </p> </li><li><p>Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting </p> </li><li><p>Float between designated clinic locations as needed </p> </li><li><p>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including therapists, case managers, and support staff </p> </li><li><p>Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) </p> </li><li><p>Ensure compliance with all clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards </p> </li> </ul> <strong>Qualifications </strong> <ul><li><p>MD or DO degree from an accredited institution </p> </li><li><p>Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry </p> </li><li><p>Active California medical license (or ability to obtain) </p> </li><li><p>DEA license required </p> </li><li><p>Experience in outpatient psychiatry preferred </p> </li><li><p>Ability to work independently while supporting a team-based care model </p> </li><li><p>Flexibility to work across multiple sites (float role) </p> </li> </ul> <strong>Schedule & Work Environment </strong> <ul><li><p>Part-time: <strong>20 hours per week </strong> </p> </li><li><p>Clinic hours fall between <strong>7:00 AM 5:00 PM </strong> </p> </li><li><p><strong>Onsite presence strongly preferred </strong> </p> </li><li><p>Adult outpatient setting with supportive clinical staff </p> </li> </ul>
