Surgery - Vascular Nurse Practitioner

<p><strong><u>Cardiac Advanced Practice Provider Inpatient Surgical OR Piedmont Henry Hospital </u> </strong> </p><p>Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Vascular Surgical service line team working at Piedmont Henry Hospital located in Stockbridge, GA. Shifts are 10 hours, 4 days a week with varying call responsibilities. This position may also occasionally provide some inpatient cross coverage for other Cardiovascular service lines, such as Cardiology. </p> <p>This is a great opportunity to be employed by one of the nation s leading cardiology programs. Piedmont Heart Institute provides the full line of cardiovascular services with dedicated electrophysiology, transplant, advanced heart failure, critical care, interventional, surgical and research services. </p> <p><strong><u>In this position you will: </u> </strong> </p><ul><li>Perform OR first assist duties </li><li>Round on patients in the hospital </li><li>Assist in management of post-operative and critically ill patients </li><li>Evaluate Cardiovascular patients in the office setting </li><li>Apply specialized skills and knowledge related to the care of patients in intensive care areas. </li><li>Contribute to excellence in patient care, research, teaching, consulting and provides leadership to the organization </li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Piedmont Benefits include: </u> </strong> </p><ul><li>Competitive compensation and benefits package </li><li>Generous CME allowance </li><li>401k with match </li><li>Quality, Service and Reputation </li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Minimum Qualifications: </u> </strong> </p><p>Masters, Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification </p><p> or </p><p>Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification and RNFA certification </p><p><strong><u>Preferred Experience: </u> </strong> </p><p>Previous Vascular Surgery with operative experience preferred. Will consider those with previous Cardiovascular experience and an operative interest. </p>
