Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Urgent Care <p><strong>Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities </strong> </p> Overview <p>We are seeking experienced <strong>Nurse Practitioners (NPs) </strong> and <strong>Physician Assistants (PAs) </strong> to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced urgent care setting. Providers will practice with a high level of autonomy while collaborating closely with emergency medicine physicians and clinical teams. </p><p>Multiple openings are available across Southern California, with flexibility to support multiple locations as needed. </p> Key Responsibilities <ul><li><p>Perform physical examinations and deliver preventive health care within established clinical guidelines </p> </li><li><p>Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests </p> </li><li><p>Formulate treatment plans, document findings, and assess patient prognosis </p> </li><li><p>Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans </p> </li><li><p>Prescribe medications and therapeutic treatments within scope of practice </p> </li><li><p>Triage patients, obtain vital signs, and perform thorough clinical assessments </p> </li><li><p>Respond confidently to emergency and life-saving situations; comfortable leading and participating in codes </p> </li><li><p>Administer medications and treatments using approved clinical techniques </p> </li><li><p>Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, and follow-up care </p> </li><li><p>Coordinate patient flow to support efficient throughput and positive patient experiences </p> </li><li><p>Utilize Experity EMR for documentation and clinical workflows </p> </li><li><p>Maintain infection control standards, patient safety, dignity, and comfort </p> </li><li><p>Delegate tasks appropriately to clinical staff within scope of practice </p> </li><li><p>Participate in quality improvement initiatives and inventory oversight </p> </li><li><p>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment </p> </li> </ul> Required Qualifications <ul><li><p>Active <strong>California NP or PA license </strong> </p> </li><li><p>Minimum <strong>1 year of Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care experience </strong>, including <strong>solo provider experience </strong> </p> </li><li><p>Experience treating patients of all ages </p> </li><li><p>Active <strong>DEA license (California address) </strong> </p> </li><li><p>Current <strong>BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications </strong> </p> </li><li><p>Comfortable managing high-acuity patients and emergency situations </p> </li><li><p>Strong clinical judgment, autonomy, and teamwork skills </p> </li> </ul> NP Credentialing Requirements <ul><li><p>CA RN License and NP Certificate (BRN) </p> </li><li><p>Furnishing Number (BRN) </p> </li><li><p>Board Certification (AANPCB or ANCC) </p> </li><li><p>DEA (CA address) </p> </li><li><p>Current CV with complete work and training history </p> </li> </ul> PA Credentialing Requirements <ul><li><p>CA PA License </p> </li><li><p>NCCPA Certification </p> </li><li><p>DEA (CA address) </p> </li><li><p>Current CV with complete work and training history </p> </li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications <ul><li><p>Bilingual in <strong>English/Spanish </strong> </p> </li> </ul> Schedule & Commitment <ul><li><p><strong>12-hour shifts (9:00 AM 9:00 PM) </strong> </p> </li><li><p>Full-time: 3 shifts per week </p> </li><li><p>Part-time: 1 2 shifts per week </p> </li><li><p><strong>Weekend availability required </strong> for all providers </p> </li><li><p>Minimum commitment of <strong>4 shifts per month </strong> </p> </li><li><p>Ability to float to nearby locations (generally within 20 miles) based on operational needs </p> </li> </ul> Locations <p>Opportunities available throughout <strong>Southern California </strong>, including priority coverage in: </p><ul><li> Downtown LA </li><li> Montebello </li><li> Hollywood </li><li> Camarillo </li><li> Northridge </li><li> West Hollywood </li><li> Venice </li><li> West Hills </li><li> Pasadena </li> </ul><br>Work Environment <ul><li><p>Center-based urgent care setting </p> </li><li><p>Fast-paced clinical environment with moderate noise level </p> </li><li><p>Exposure to infectious diseases and blood-borne pathogens </p> </li><li><p>Requires standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs </p> </li><li><p>Scrubs provided </p> </li> </ul> Why Join Us <ul><li><p>High-performing, collaborative clinical culture </p> </li><li><p>Modern facilities and strong operational support </p> </li><li><p>Opportunities for leadership growth and career advancement </p> </li><li><p>Emphasis on quality care, patient satisfaction, and provider support </p> </li> </ul>
