The infusion nurse duties include but are not limited to: administering chemotherapy, administering other specialty infusion therapy, and providing patient education. Provides telephone triage and clinical advice appropriately; coordinates the follow-up care of patients and practice management support. Proficiency will be needed for the following: IV placement, preparation and administration of IV medication, and IM injections.
