Job description
<div><h3>General Manager</h3>
<p>We have an exciting opportunity for a General Manager with a minimum of 5 years operations experience, who is strong leading and developing teams! The General Manager is responsible for coordinating the Pharmacy operations at Omnicare in Salt Lake City and will report to a District Director of Operations. The role focuses on operational excellence, ensuring the delivery of the right drug to the right place at the right time.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Run the operational performance of the designated pharmacy using financial acumen and P&L experience, while achieving operational targets and maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.</li>
<li>Consult with internal and external partners to ensure medication needs are maintained and identify customer risks and opportunities.</li>
<li>Improve processes and build optimal efficiency by leveraging expertise in supply chain and pharmacy operations.</li>
<li>Mentor, develop, recruit, hire, train, and engage pharmacy staff to deliver on pharmacy goals.</li>
<li>Ensure all organization activities and operational metrics are executed in compliance with state and/or federal regulations governing financial and pharmacy operations.</li>
<li>Manage the budget and meet or exceed site budget and financial goals, including optimizing cost management in line with script counts.</li>
<li>Reinforce operating policies, procedures, and processes to achieve operational perfection, results, and identify changes that improve efficiencies.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Required Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>At least 5 years of operations management experience with a demonstrated track record of managing workflow and resources, quality and compliance, and leading and directing teams.</li>
<li>Currently hold an active Pharmacist license in good standing with the State of Utah.</li>
<li>Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Prior experience in healthcare, manufacturing, and/or supply chain.</li>
<li>Long‑Term Care experience.</li>
<li>Pharm D or Master’s degree in business, finance, logistics, or related discipline.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Education Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Pay Range</h3>
<p>The typical pay range for this role is $128,750.00 - $217,500.00. The actual base salary offer will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range, and includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.</p>
