<p><strong>Sales Manager</strong></p><p>At The Reading Group (TRG), we're scaling our wholesale business with serious momentum and we're looking for a Sales Manager who wants real ownership, real influence, and real results.</p><p>You will drive revenue and own our wholesale channel end-to-end for our market share leading product in it's category. If you thrive in high-accountability environments, love building durable partnerships, and want your work to visibly move the needle, keep reading.</p><p><strong>What You'll Own</strong></p><p><strong>Wholesale Revenue & Relationships</strong></p><ul><li>Full ownership of key wholesale distributor and retail stores.</li><li>Account stability, retention, and expansion.</li></ul><p><strong>Sales Performance</strong></p><ul><li>Lead outbound wholesale sales efforts and manage inbound opportunities.</li><li>Craft compelling pitches grounded in product expertise and customer insight.</li><li>Spot growth opportunities before anyone else does.</li></ul><p><strong>Channel Strategy</strong></p><ul><li>Partner with Marketing on promotions, pricing strategies, and channel direction.</li><li>Provide accurate forecasts that inform inventory and supply chain decisions.</li><li>Improve how the wholesale channel operates, faster, cleaner, smarter.</li></ul><p><strong>Operational Excellence</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate closely with Customer Service to ensure flawless execution.</li><li>Keep CRM/ERP data tight, accurate, and actionable.</li><li>Proactively identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities and fix them.</li></ul><p><strong>Who Thrives Here</strong></p><p>You're not just a seller; you're an engine for growth. </p><ul><li>5+ years in wholesale, distributor sales, or B2B account leadership</li><li>You know how distributor relationships really work and how they break.</li><li>You're confident, credible, and comfortable at the table with decision-makers.</li><li>You're organized, decisive. </li><li>You collaborate well, but you don't wait to be told what to do.</li></ul><p><strong>Bonus Points If You Have</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in consumer goods or regulated industries.</li><li>Strong CRM or ERP fluency.</li><li>A track record of stabilizing accounts and driving sustainable growth.</li></ul><p><strong>Why This Role Is Different</strong></p><ul><li>Direct access to executive leadership.</li><li>Clear ownership of a revenue-critical channel.</li><li>A company that values execution over bureaucracy.</li><li>The chance to leave your fingerprint on how wholesale sales are done at TRG.</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation</strong></p><p>Compensation is competitive and negotiable, aligned with industry and national standards.
