Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.<p></p><h1><span style="color:#005cb9"><b>Position Details:</b></span></h1><p></p><h1><span class="emphasis-3"><b>Supervisor – Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP)</b></span></h1><p><b>Location:</b> Mercy Hospital South -<i>10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, MO 63128</i></p><p><b>Status:</b> Full Time, Evenings</p><p></p><p><b>Overview:</b></p><p>Assists in the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the operations and patient care of designated areas. Serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department. Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed. Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.</p><p></p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><p><b>Education:</b></p><ul><li><p>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Associate’s Degree, Diploma, or BSN)</p></li></ul><p><b>Licensure:</b></p><ul><li><p>Must hold and maintain a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure as applicable</p></li><li><p>Responsible for meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements</p></li></ul><p><b>Experience:</b></p><ul><li><p>2 years of patient care experience required</p></li><li><p>Supervisor experience preferred</p></li></ul><p><b>Certifications:</b></p><ul><li><p><b>Required:</b> Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire)</p></li><li><p>Additional certifications may be required based on unit or obtained within department timeframe:</p><ul><li><p>ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)</p></li><li><p>NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)</p></li><li><p>ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)</p></li><li><p>TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)</p></li><li><p>CPHON (Certified Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse)</p></li><li><p>OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)</p></li><li><p>PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)</p></li><li><p>PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)</p></li><li><p>S.T.A.B.L.E.
