Key Highlights<ul><li>Join a department total of 131 Pathologists with 4 in the clinical chemistry lab</li><li>Provides technical directorship of the clinical laboratories to ensure regulatory compliance and quality patient test results within an integrated multi-hospital clinical chemistry service.</li><li>Provide on call attending responsibilities including clinical consultations for physician and healthcare providers regarding test results and interpretations. </li><li>Actively participate in Divisional educational activities</li><li>Pursue basic/clinical/translational research. </li><li>Laboratory-based investigations and entrepreneurial efforts are supportable based on prior accomplishments.</li><li>Develops and delivers educational content for medical students, residents, fellows, and laboratory staff both within the formal Clinical Chemistry rotation, elective teaching, informal teaching, and mentoring settings. </li><li>Infuses diversity, equity, and inclusion principles in their workstyle. </li><li>Participates in trainee evaluations and candidate interviews</li></ul>What Can UPMC Do for You?<ul><li>Academic rank, tenure and salary will be commensurate with experience.
