Pittsburgh provides a vibrant community with a rich cultural scene, making it an ideal place for both professional growth and personal enjoyment.</span></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Highlights</strong></p><ul><li><span>Join a department total of 131 Pathologists with 4 in the clinical chemistry lab</span></li><li><span>Provides technical directorship of the clinical laboratories to ensure regulatory compliance and quality patient test results within an integrated multi-hospital clinical chemistry service.</span></li><li><span>Provide on call attending responsibilities including clinical consultations for physician and healthcare providers regarding test results and interpretations. </span></li><li><span>Actively participate in Divisional educational activities</span></li><li><span>Pursue basic/clinical/translational research. </span></li><li><span>Laboratory-based investigations and entrepreneurial efforts are supportable based on prior accomplishments.</span></li><li><span>Develops and delivers educational content for medical students, residents, fellows, and laboratory staff both within the formal Clinical Chemistry rotation, elective teaching, informal teaching, and mentoring settings. </span></li><li><span>Infuses diversity, equity, and inclusion principles in their workstyle. </span></li><li><span>Participates in trainee evaluations and candidate interviews</span></li></ul><p><strong>What Can UPMC Do for You?</strong></p><ul><li><span>Academic rank, tenure and salary will be commensurate with experience.
