In this role, you will collaborate with a skilled team, contribute to clinical excellence, and enjoy opportunities for professional growth-all while serving the Great Falls community.Local Team Collaboration:<ul><li>Join our team of Advanced Practice Providers and tele-ICU physicians to provide exceptional patient care resulting in positive patient outcomes. </li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Board Certified Physician Assistant.</li><li>Two years of experience as an independent provider in the ICU (with procedure logs).</li><li>Montana Physician Assistants must demonstrate completion of 8,000 or more documented practice hours.</li><li>Active Montana license and DEA preferred.</li><li>Authorized to work in the United States.</li></ul>Scheduling:<ul><li>ICU coverage is 12-hour day Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider 7 a.m. -7 p.m. working in collaboration with Sound tele-ICU physician. </li><li>Average of 15 shifts per month, modified block shift schedule.</li></ul>Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>10-bed surgical ICU with cardiothoracic patients and observation ICU patients, estimated 8 encounters per day.</li><li>Work collaboratively with the cardiothoracic surgeon, nursing staff, respiratory therapists, consultants and other hospital team members to deliver high quality, evidence-based critical care services.</li><li>Perform comprehensive assessments and implement patient treatment plans.</li><li>Perform bedside procedures within scope of practice including central line and arterial line placement and intubation. Manage mechanical ventilation in collaboration with respiratory therapy.</li><li>Participate in goals of care discussions and family communication.</li><li>Participate in quality improvement and performance initiatives as determined.</li></ul>Living and Working in Great Falls<ul><li>Great Falls, Montana offers something for everyone - scenic beauty, outdoor adventure and a vibrant arts scene. Known for a strong arts and culture presence, Great Falls has 11 museums and 25+ murals throughout the city. It is also home to famed Western Artist Charles M. Russell. His works are visible throughout the city.
