In this role, you will collaborate with a skilled team, contribute to clinical excellence, and enjoy opportunities for professional growth-all while serving the Great Falls community.</p><p><strong>Local Team Collaboration:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Join our team of Advanced Practice Providers and tele-ICU physicians to provide exceptional patient care resulting in positive patient outcomes. </p></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Board Certified Physician Assistant.</p></li><li><p>Two years of experience as an independent provider in the ICU (with procedure logs).</p></li><li><p>Montana Physician Assistants must demonstrate completion of 8,000 or more documented practice hours.</p></li><li><p>Active Montana license and DEA preferred.</p></li><li><p>Authorized to work in the United States.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Scheduling:</strong></p><ul><li><p>ICU coverage is 12-hour day Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider 7 a.m. -7 p.m. working in collaboration with Sound tele-ICU physician. </p></li><li><p>Average of 15 shifts per month, modified block shift schedule.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>10-bed surgical ICU with cardiothoracic patients and observation ICU patients, estimated 8 encounters per day.</p></li><li><p>Work collaboratively with the cardiothoracic surgeon, nursing staff, respiratory therapists, consultants and other hospital team members to deliver high quality, evidence-based critical care services.</p></li><li><p>Perform comprehensive assessments and implement patient treatment plans.</p></li><li><p>Perform bedside procedures within scope of practice including central line and arterial line placement and intubation. Manage mechanical ventilation in collaboration with respiratory therapy.</p></li><li><p>Participate in goals of care discussions and family communication.</p></li><li><p>Participate in quality improvement and performance initiatives as determined.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Living and Working in Great Falls</strong></p><ul><li><p>Great Falls, Montana offers something for everyone - scenic beauty, outdoor adventure and a vibrant arts scene. His works are visible throughout the city.
