<p>The Genesis OB-GYN team is seeking a new partner to join an established standard OBGYN practice in Zanesville, OH. The practice is continuing to expand and recruitment is due to the integration of an OB/GYN laborist model with our traditional practice. Planned upcoming retirements will allow you to fill your practice quickly.</p><p>Recruitment Package/Benefits:</p><ol><li>Flexible competitive salary and benefits package with a 3-year guarantee</li><li>Comprehensive health and wellness benefits</li><li>Signing bonus</li><li>Flexible scheduling options </li><li>1:6 call "with option to add additional hospitalist shifts if desired"</li><li>7 weeks PTO</li><li>$5,000 annual CME</li></ol><p>Practice Overview:</p><ol><li>Level 2 nursery - 24/7 in house Nationwide Childrens pediatricians </li><li>Av. 1,500 births per year</li><li>OBGYN Hospitalist team to compliment call</li><li>Scheduled OR block time </li><li>7 APPs for support</li><li>Urogynecology on site as well</li></ol><p>Responsibilities:</p><ol><li>Provide primary and preventative care to women, including routine gynecological exams, Pap smears, and breast exams.</li><li>Diagnose and treat various gynecological conditions such as menstrual disorders, endometriosis, and pelvic inflammatory disease.</li><li>Performing prenatal care for pregnant women, including monitoring fetal development, managing high-risk pregnancies, and addressing any pregnancy-related concerns.</li><li>Conduct deliveries, both vaginal and cesarean, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and baby.</li><li>Perform surgical procedures such as hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and tubal ligations as needed.</li><li>Educate patients about reproductive health, contraception options, and family planning.</li><li>Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, midwives, and other specialists, to provide comprehensive care to patients.</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, examination results, and treatment plans.</li><li>Stay informed about the latest advancements in obstetrics and gynecology through continuing medical education and professional development activities.</li><li>Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice, ensuring patient confidentiality and informed consent.</li></ol>
