<p>Mass General Brigham Medical Group (MGB MG) is seeking an experienced, Board-Certified Physician leader to serve as <strong>Medical Director, Express Care </strong>in the Pioneer Valley region of Massachusetts. This leadership role provides oversight of up to four Express Care centers across the Pioneer Valley region and plays a key role in advancing clinical excellence, operational performance, quality, safety, and strategic growth.</p><p>Join our team and enjoy a flexible schedule in a collaborative, team-based care environment with excellent compensation. This role offers the chance to apply your clinical skill set in a fast-paced setting, where you will care for a wide range of patients presenting with highly acute illness, injury, or in need of a procedure.</p><p>The Medical Director will collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and operational leaders to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting the continued expansion and development of our Urgent Care network.</p><p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p><ul><li><p>Provide clinical leadership and oversight for up to four MGB Medical Group Express Care locations.</p></li><li><p>Partner with operational and clinical leaders to advance quality, patient safety, patient experience, and performance.</p></li><li><p>Supervise and mentor Physicians, Lead APPs, and APPs.</p></li><li><p>Support provider recruitment, onboarding, training, and professional development.</p></li><li><p>Develop and implement clinical policies, protocols, and best practices.</p></li><li><p>Monitor quality metrics, patient experience, and regulatory compliance.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to strategic planning, service line growth, budgeting, and operational initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Partner with Revenue Cycle and administrative teams to ensure documentation, coding, and billing compliance.</p></li><li><p>Foster a culture of teamwork, continuous improvement, and clinical excellence.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>MD or DO from an accredited medical school.</p></li><li><p>Completion of an accredited residency program.</p></li><li><p>Board Certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine-Pediatrics.</p></li><li><p>Unrestricted Massachusetts medical license (or ability to obtain).</p></li><li><p>Current DEA certification.</p></li><li><p>Prior leadership experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or ambulatory care settings strongly preferred.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Schedule & Location</strong></p><ul><li><p>Full-time (70% clinical) & (30 % Administrative/leadership position).</p></li><li><p>Opportunity for Hybrid work model with potential flexibility to provide clinical and administrative support across multiple locations.</p></li><li><p>Monday through Friday schedule with occasional evenings, weekends, and extended hours as needed.</p></li><li><p>Current Express Care locations include: Northampton, Southampton, Amherst & Greenfield.</p></li></ul><p>* Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 8:00pm</p><p>* Saturday & Sunday: 9:00am to 5:00pm </p><p><strong>Why Choose Mass General Brigham? </strong></p><p>Join an integrated healthcare system recognized for its excellence in patient care, research, and education.
