<p><strong>Nurse Practitioner - OB/GYN Outpatient Clinic</strong></p><p><strong>VHC Health | Arlington, VA | Full-Time | On-Site</strong></p><p><strong>About the Clinic</strong></p><p>The OB/GYN Clinic manages approximately 2,000 visits per month across obstetrics, gynecology, and OB Connect services. All patients are uninsured or underinsured, and the clinic serves as the primary OB care provider for the Arlington Department of Health.</p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>VHC Health is seeking a mission-driven Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our OB/GYN Outpatient Clinic team. This is a new position embedded in a nursing-led public health clinic serving one of the most diverse and underserved communities in the Washington, DC metro area. The APP will manage their own patient panel, working in close coordination with the attending physician, nursing leadership, and the on-site internal medicine team. This is a purely outpatient role - no call, no inpatient, no OR.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>* Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care including prenatal visits, problem GYN consultations, and management of chronic gynecologic conditions</p><p>* Manage approximately 35 patient visits per day within a structured, schedule-only clinic model</p><p>* Collaborate with the internal medicine team, who share patient panels and clinical space</p><p>* Coordinate care with Arlington County's Department of Health and county-run preventive GYN services</p><p>* Participate in care coordination through the OB Connect program</p><p>* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation</p><p>* Function independently within their own patient schedule; learner supervision remains the responsibility of the attending physician</p><p><strong>Schedule & Location</strong></p><p>* Location: VHC Health Main Campus, 1701 N. George Mason Drive, Arlington, VA 22205</p><p>* Setting: Outpatient only - no call, no inpatient, no OR</p><p>* Schedule: 4 days per week - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday (Thursday available as an alternative if needed)</p><p>* Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (first patient at 8:00 AM; last patient typically by 3:30 PM)</p><p>* Parking: Free on-site for all employees</p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p>* Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the Commonwealth of Virginia (or eligible)</p><p>* OB/GYN certification or demonstrated OB/GYN clinical experience (e.g., prenatal care as a nurse or NP)</p><p>* Experience managing OB/GYN emergencies and chronic gynecologic conditions</p><p>* Minimum 2 years of NP experience in OB/GYN or a related clinical setting</p><p>* Strong commitment to serving uninsured and underinsured patient populations</p><p>* Ability to thrive in a high-volume, nursing-led clinical environment</p><p>* Prior experience in a public health, FQHC, or community health setting preferred.</p><p>* ACLS and BLS Certification</p><p><a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" class="editor-link" href="mailto:anbell@vhchealth.org">anbell@vhchealth.org</a></p><p><em>At VHC Health, every role contributes to exceptional care, better outcomes, and stronger communities.</em></p><p><em>Compensation Range: $ 123,260.80 - $ 234,145.60 annually</em></p><p><em>In addition to your base compensation, VHC Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage (subject to eligibility requirements), as well as additional wellness and retirement benefits designed to support our employees and their families.</em></p><p><em>VHC Health is committed to wage transparency and equitable pay practices.
