Carle Health is seeking an additional BE/BC GI Hospitalist to join our Gastroenterology department at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois.Opportunity Details<ul><li>Inpatient consults and Inpatient procedures for Gastroenterology<ul><li>Annual consult volumes: Pekin Hospital-180, Proctor Hospital-228, Methodist Hospital-528</li><li>Annual procedure volumes: Pekin Hospital-80, Proctor Hospital-124, Methodist Hospital-553</li></ul></li><li>Schedule is 25 weeks (175 shifts) per year, Monday-Sunday, 24-hour coverage, in-house from 7a-7pm; shifts will include holidays as part of the normal schedule rotation</li><li>Full time Advanced Practitioner support for daytime coverage</li><li>24/7 hospitalist program is responsible for adult and pediatric inpatients</li><li>EPIC EMR</li><li>Triage calls for GI and round on patients at all three hospital campuses</li><li>EUS procedure, plus ERCP</li><li>Participate in biweekly colorectal tumor boards</li><li>Carle Health Methodist Hospital is a 349-bed Level II Trauma Center that has been ranked #23 in the state of Illinois for patient outcomes</li><li>Excellent benefits package: health/dental/life insurance, 403-B plan with employer match, LTD, relocation allowance, CME allowance, and paid malpractice insurance with tail insurance coverage</li><li>Carle Health is a not-for-profit organization with public service loan forgiveness eligibility</li></ul>About Our CommunityLocated in the Heart of Illinois, Peoria is a vibrant River City full of art, entertainment, sports, history and more! This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
