<b>Job Description & Requirements</b><br>Hematology - Oncology Physician<br>StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $388.00 - $420.00 <br><br><p>This facility is seeking a Hematology-Oncology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.</p><p><br></p><p>Details & requirements for this opportunity:</p><p>Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday; 8:30 AM–5:00 PM outpatient clinic with shared call coverage; September–December 2026</p><p><br></p><p>Practice Setting: Hematology and Oncology; outpatient clinic with inpatient consult and call coverage</p><p><br></p><p>Types of Cases: Adult, geriatric, and obstetric hematology/oncology care; outpatient oncology and hematology management, inpatient consults, chemotherapy coordination (administered by oncology nursing staff), tumor board participation, ordering tests and imaging, and prescribing treatments</p><p><br></p><p>Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic</p><p><br></p><p>Certifications Required: Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology, Basic Life Support</p><p><br></p><p>Licensure Required: Active Connecticut medical license at time of submission (no exceptions)</p><br><br><b>Job Benefits</b><br>AMN Healthcare typically arranges medical or dental malpractice insurance for the contractor providers we match to client opportunities.
